Magnesium works alongside calcium to help regulate your muscles and heart contraction. It is also needed to produce energy in the body, keep our bones and teeth strong and help with nerve transmission. It keeps our digestive system healthy by keeping food moving along the intestines. It also plays a role in keeping our blood flowing smoothly, by looking after our blood vessels.
The RDA of magnesium is 420mg and the SONA is 350mg.
